For each memorial, the library will select a book or other library material for dedication from one of the subject areas you suggest. A card announcing your dedication will be sent to the person you honor or the family of the person you remembered.
A book plate announcing your gift is inserted in the front of every dedicated book. The books are displayed for a short time in a special place in the library and are also listed quarterly in the Friends of the Library newsletter.
You can view and print the Memorial Gift Form from the link below. If you have questions, please contact a member of the library staff by coming to the library or calling 252-823-1141 between the hours of 9AM and 9PM Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 6PM on Fridays, or 9AM to 5PM on Saturdays. Your form can be mailed to: Edgecombe County Memorial Library; Memorial Gifts; 909 N Main Street; Tarboro, NC 27886-3800.
